Marvin Jones, Cal’s top Wide Receiver, who is entering his last year at Cal, gave up some of his time to answer a couple questions for us about the upcoming football season and how he predicts Cal will do this year. It is a short interview, but we got some valuable inside information from Marvin.
Do you think Coach Tedford fixed the problems that caused Cal to go 5-7?
Yes, he is doing a great job putting us in a position to be more successful. There are changes that the fans will see when the season starts.
Is Coach Blasquez (Strength & Conditioning) as good as everyone said he is?
Words can’t explain the significance of coach B. I can speak for the team and say we have never felt better. His structure and enthusiasm brings out the best in us.
Lastly, How do you think Cal will do this season? Do you think it’s a rebuilding year or is it THE YEAR?
Our loyal fans should know that we are in good hands across the board and there have been significant changes and we are competing for a Championship. Not trying to rebuild, we have all the tools and potential, we just need to rise to it. If so, get ready to smell roses!
