Zach Kline, one of the best QBs in the 2012 Football Recruiting Class, is a very impressive football player. Kline has been committed to Cal since September of 2010 and he is definitely the school’s biggest recruiter. He has been instrumental in getting Bryce Treggs to commit to Cal and is still pressuring others.

Zach Kline has all the tools that a Quarterback needs to be one of the best in Division 1. He has an absolute cannon of an arm as you can see in the video. That is the probably the most impressive attribute which will come in use when he connects with Bryce Treggs for a 50+ yard touchdown. Also, Zach isn’t raw like many other QB’s, but has already honed his skills. He has good vision down-field and does look for the long ball which complements his amazing arm strength. Kline is fundamentally sound with his throwing motion. He is an efficient Quarterback and can throw accurately on the run, which is also the consequence of having down the fundamentals. Zach isn’t a huge guy, but he still is an average build for a QB with an ability to still grow a little more and add on to his frame. The last quality that is definitely worth a mention is that Zach is a confident QB, in that he trusts his skills, which is what Cal QBs have been lacking for quite some time.

Overall:

As much as this phrase is used to describe even average players, Zach Kline is the complete package. He is an amazing quarterback with the perfect qualities to throw the ball to speedy receivers. This guy is a leader and will give Cal it’s best chance to reach a Rose Bowl since Aaron Rodgers. As a Cal fan, you have to be over-joyed at the thought that one of the nation’s best QBs coming in at the perfect time, when the team is filled with talent. Zach Kline is the real deal and he definitely could lead Cal Football to glory.
