SF Gate, who has two article about the game and a blogpost on their Cal Bears Blog. This article is your basic, run-of-the-mill post-game recap. This one, however, is a piece specifically about the tackling trouble Cal had last night against Portland State. The blogpost is an good read if you want to get a few interesting tidbits about the game that you aren’t likely to hear on the Pac-12 post-game show.

There is way more content over at the Contra Costa Times website. Specifically the work of Jeff Faraudo, who is telling us that Braxton Miller is likely to play next week. Not that we didn’t know that, but a boy can dream, right? Faraudo also wrote a solid piece regarding the running game and their lack of production.

If you wanted to see Sonny Dyke’s post-game news conference, you can see it here on YouTube.

A couple of news and notes around the Pac-12:

In an overall slow week, one of the bigger upsets happened last night when the #25 USC Trojans lost to the Washington State Cougars. It led to some interesting chanting last night at the coliseum…The Sun Devils demolished Sacramento State…While the Wildcats used their run-game to take out UNLV…and finally we’d like to send out our prayers and thoughts to the family of UCLA wide receiver Nick Pasquale who passed away early this morning.
