Jahvid Best Signs 5-year Deal with Lions

According to the “Detroit News” Jahvid Best has officially signed with the Detroit Lions on July 30th. He was able to sign before training camp started and now he can be a full participant in it, with no worries.

“It was really important to me (to have the deal done before camp),” Best said. “Just being here on time and being with the rest of the team, just doing things the way they are supposed to be done was really important to me.”

The deal is worth $12.7 million, with $7.1 million of it guaranteed. Let’s hope he does well in the NFL and becomes one of the elite running  backs.
