College Football Week 4 Betting Picks
By Editorial Staff
Didn’t post last week, enjoying a break courtesty of Presbyterian. I actually did place some bets last week and did fairly well, but I can’t in good conscious claim them here since I didn’t post them. Just counting weeks 1 and 2, I’m 11-7 on the year.
Pac-12 picks for the week:
Oregon State by 3 over Fucla – Wouldn’t bet this game, ever… That said, while I think people shouldn’t take too much from the Texas loss (Texas simply is substantially more talented than UCLA… ), Oregon State gets James Rodgers back and its in Corvallis. Oregon State to cover.
UW by 3 over Cal – Don’t have a good feeling about this one. Much has been made about UW’s defense struggling, but it could be tough to dig ourselves out of a hole if UW scores. We are due against UW, hopefully the last few years provide plenty of motivation. Picking UW to cover.
Ohio State by 14 over Colorado – Think I’ll take Ohio State here. Both teams aren’t looking too hot, but Colorado is awful away from home. OSU to cover.
Oregon by 14 over Arizona – I can see Oregon making this one ugly. Don’t see Arizona fixing many of the problems that plagued them against OSU.
More after the jump.
ASU by 3 over USC – USC should win, ASU hasn’t looked particularly scary yet.
Outside the Pac12:
LSU -6.5 at West Virginia – I like LSU here, despite it being in Morgantown. LSU’s defense is scary.
Alabama -12 against Arkansas – Also like Alabama here. Arkansas’ offensive numbers are about to take a dip. Happens to the best of us…
