Contra Costa C.C. offensive tackle Desmond Harrison was offered by the California Golden Bears yesterday, and the 2013 JUCO recruit told Rivals.com about his offer from Cal.

Desmond Harrison has been garnering some interest from major programs and has a healthy list of offers. Cal is his most recent major offer, and they are one of the biggest programs to have offered him so far.

The JUCO tackle isn’t rated by recruiting sites, but he does have offers from Cal, Kansas, Maryland, Arkansas, Boise State, Arizona State, Ole Miss, N.C. State, Purdue, Rutgers, San Diego State, Texas Tech, and Washington. The 6’8″, 320 pound tackle who runs a 4.9 forty has received interest from Washington State, Miami, Oregon, and USC as well.

The San Pablo, California is a hot prospect on the west coast and is receiving major interest from some schools in the Midlands. The three teams that have been recruiting the big 2013 JC tackle the hardest so far are Arkansas, Arizona State, and Boise State. All three are notable programs, with Arkansas being a powerhouse in college football’s best conference in the SEC.

California has offered the big tackle who is a solid recruit, and Desmond Harrison should be rated a three-star player once recruiting services start to grade him.
