Cal Players to Watch against Washington State

I’ve continually said that taking Jared Goff out of the game after just six passes vs. Oregon was a stupid move. This entire week has been about Goff vs. Zach Kline. Now, after the announcement that Goff will in fact start the game this weekend (though we could see both guys out there) what will be interesting is to see how Goff answers the bell.

If Dykes is smart, he will not put to much pressure on the quarterback, and thus, make this game about the run game (due to the fact that Washington State is superb against the pass). Either way though, this kid will need to prove he is the leader of the team in order to put Cal back in the win column.
