Connor Halliday – Quarterback

The fact is this game is going to be about turnovers. Washington State’s turnover issues stem from the quarterback spot, where the talented (but inconsistent) Connor Halliday has thrown for 10 touchdowns, but also thrown nine interceptions. He has shown the ability to take over games (his performances against Idaho and Souther Utah were solid if not great), but also has had more than a few bad outings.

He has thrown for over 1,400 yards, and has been great finding his receivers in traffic. The problem is, no matter what, drives seem to end up with turnovers. Cal will have to continue that trend in order to win the game this weekend. Halliday must play a poor game to give them a shot.
